The left one

N

You made the second sword's base damage too low to really make this interesting. Crits are basically just getting it to equal to the first sword, but it only does half otherwise.

50% crit chance is fucking busted as hell, but the way it's phrased is a trick question cuz 50x2 would just be 100, so 1 is better because its identical to #2 if it were to 100% crit chance

Did you use the correct numbers? Did you maybe mean 75 damage on the second sword?

the right one only sometimes does the same damage as the left

the left one

Depends on if my gear boosts crit chance additively or multiplicatively

Linked Sword?
Also why the fuck would anyone take the second sword?

Left one, right one only crits for 100

Left does 100% damage every time
Right does 50% damage but has a chance of sometimes hitting 100% damage

So obviously left

OP, you need to at least try to make them balanced in some way. Not make one outright stronger no matter what rng you get on the second one.

x2 damage would be an added 100 damage on top of the base 50 you retards. the right is the clear choice

Remake the image with the right sword dealing 3x damage on a crit and then we can have a real discussion.

>would be an added 100 damage on top of the base 50 you retards
It doesn't say this...at all. Are you illiterate?

what's the speed of each weapon

Unless it boosts the additional damage what would be the point?

user, what's 50 x 2? You can take some time to think about it.

How many games have crits that work that way?

>50 x 2 =150
American education at its finest

Right for PvP (more burst)

Otherwise left

DOOL
WEEL

this is bait right?

Damage output on the right is higher for this one. Unless you're playing WoW where your instant cast melee abilities scale off of weapon damage, right is the call.

In what game has a crit chance multiplier ever added instead of meaning a multiplication of the base value?

Explain how it has more burst.

that's not how crit damage typically works

expected damage of left per hit is 100
expected damage of right per hit is 75
so left
if crits were x3 damage then they'd be equal, and right might be better in certain circumstances

Left. I fucking hate RNG

>equip right sword
>proceed to use magic attacks, all buffed by the 50% crit chance

>Weapon crit factors into magic crit
What kind of jank ass game are you playing? It sounds like fun

my fists

the right deals a base of 50 damage, and a crit is 100 damage, so when you get a crit you deal 100 on top of the base 50. how is this hard to understand?

maybe he's playing diablo 3

A greater than 100% crit chance is treated as a damage multiplier.

give an example of a real game that does it that way

I wish I was this dumb, life would be easier for sure.

Again, you are illiterate. Second, that only brings the overall dps up to equal even if it DID work that way with one having a potential of hitting higher then the other at certain instances.

you sound like you're struggling with crewmate's objectives on among us

Black Souls 2
The 100% crit rate weapon greatly debuffs your magic stat for balance, but the 70% crit rate weapon is almost as good and has no penalty on magic.
