This shit in performance mode looks next gen. Sony cant stop winni
Horizon Forbidden West
Is that Candle
Looks like a pixelated mess
Ye, because its fuzzy hologram projecting on ruined buildings
You go girl!
Is this supposed to be set centuries from now? How would Vegas even resemble itself at all?
It doesnt, its all futuristic with holograms. You get to explore really cool ruins though for underwater hotel/casino and fight lochness monster
ok shill check my 5
This game reveals a dangerous thing about photorealistic graphics. Yes, the game looks amazing, lifelike even, but with how it is directed during the cutscenes, it almost ends up feeling like a mid-level tv show in the most uncanny feeling ways, borderline goofy at times even. I can't possibly be the only one feeling this? Death Stranding as an example also is pretty much photorealistic and looks incredible but the way it is directed I never got that feeling. Maybe it is the way they blur out the backgrounds and light up the characters? It just feels like a theater play in front of a green screen majority of the time characters talk.
When will shit stop clipping through other shit? The best graphics in the world get shattered the moment I see clipping objects and wonky animations.
it looks better in resolution mode
no idea what the fuck guerilla did but the antialiasing in performance mode is awful
ratchet & clank's 1440p mode is cleaner than horizon's 1800p performance mode
that said, 30fps feels awful so i'm still playing it on 60fps. maybe it's just my lg cx cause i don't remember 30fps games feeling this bad
30fps does feel sluggish in horizon, its not the case with all games. I play on LG C1. I dont think game looks that blurry, but devs acknowledged shimmering issue, that what leads to some people to think its lower res than what it is.
so is there any other cool robot aside from dinobird mamoth and snek?
im surprised the autists at df werent more critical of performance mode and how low res it looks
This is performance how. How low res do you think it looks?
they apparently fixed the shimmering issue, although i don't remember actually seeing what the problem was
they were? they said that normally they just recommend performance modes but in this case they say to try both out for yourself
you cant see it in a screenshot you faggot and you know it. in motion the grass looks like soupy mush
pretty much
they thought this looked good?
I haven't played the second one.. but I assume this is the thing everyone was talking about how the game goes a little too "sci-fi"?
who is they?
the director I would assume
yeah
the antagonist is only ever mentioned in a couple data logs in the first game. i didn't see it coming desu
