There’s two sexes for humans, with some overlap or great area if you have a rare medical condition or something.
Gender, though, is performative. There is no fixed number. However, after about two and a half genders (male, female, and androgynous) people kind of run out of ideas and most of the new shit they come up with is just a variation of androgynous.
