it's not economical, the energy it takes to go that fast will cost you more than the value of the gold you produce. if you use a machine it will cost more in electricity, if you do it by hand it will be the price of food

More or less, the way nuclear power plants actually work is obviously more complex, but the major disaster at Chernobyl was uncontrolled heating causing a massive steam explosion that destroyed the facility and released a ton of radioactive contamination
