sea of thieves and btd6 at certain points
Both of the Blue Reflection games.
Atelier games most of the time, but they have just enough variety / things to do that you can still be entertained if you try hard enough.
when I finally with UCL with a shit team from some eastern european country in FM
BotW after the initial veneer wears off.
Any RPG after the first hour
ryza
persona
deepseaprisoner games, except for the edgy parts.
Darkest Dungeon
spyro
Cities: Skylines And I like that game
Everything after Midgar in FF7.
Final Fantasy XII
The Last Remnant.
Stardew Valley
second half of yakuza 3
A lot of games that ride this line actually jump back and forth depending on how you play. Minecraft is comfy when played some ways and boring in others.

Ya Last Remnant is tedious even if I like the world and art direction I can't bring myself to finish it.
Fallout 4
SMRPG. I like thinking about it but not replaying the thing.
nah, botw just has balance issues that make the late game not as fun
koroks suck though
Death Stranding for the first few hours. I loved the game in the end, but it really does make the miserable earliest travel and transport last a bit longer than it should've.
I think the intrigue of "what the fuck is this and what's going on in this world" keeps the first few hours from being totally boring on an initial playthrough.
100% Sea of Thieves. So much downtime and people with no mics just kills the vibe.
