was the soundtrack that bad? haven't listened
i'm getting very underground german vibes
It sounds like a parody.
Doesn't sound so bad to me. A bit over the top with effects but it were music in Horizon you'd say it's good.
>Seriously how did this get past quality control?
Do you actually know what quality control does? If there even was QC, they would have absolutely pointed out every bug they found. It's up to EA and the dev time to act on the QC suggestions. They obviously didn't.

I actually really like it. Not for a videogame, and definitely not for a Battlefield. As a music piece as a whole though, I think it's quite a good soundscape.
QA testers are always underpaid and usually have some kind of vendetta against their companies

What?

user...
BF1 had a good soundtrack. I wonder if it was because they tried to honor the setting with more traditional-sounding music.
EA doesn’t care. It still sold millions

what quality control? the eternal question that modern companies ask is "Did the marketing team advertised this unfinished game enough so coonsoomers would buy it anyways?"

Large publishers don’t have QA anymore.

It was because of that, it reminded me of something out of like victoria 2. BF1 was the last time they gave a shit
Welcome to modern video game development
Early access release (get people to buy it now)
Release (launch)
The actual point where release is playable (takes months if not years for a game to be playable)
Oh I also forgot to include the developers whining that the playerbase is "toxic" because they expect a playable game on release and are rightfully mad that the game they played full price for is unplayable
>20 years prior

Not only that mind you. It was missing a scoreboard. Like you can't fuck up that badly.
