I imagine that this couple is kind of the result when two annoying narcissists decide to get married. I don't know if it was the author's intention, but they are completely repulsive in their ways, in those passive aggressions that one does against the other, etc.

Have there been any games like this ever since? It seems like such a wasted opportunity given how progress has been made in speech recognition and speech synthesis in the last 17 years.
