After one and two and brotherhood it fell down to a trash heap and that’s the truth simple as.

I am replying 2 on switch right now and I can assure you, it's not good.

Kino settings and story. Felt very mystical, yet real. Went downhill massively after the 3rd game. 4 was very good, but wasn't a Assassin's creed game.

>after the 3rd game
are you implying 3 wasn't a dumpster fire already

The first game was so good that it blinded people from seeing how much the series tanked after that.

are they any good?

the sparta & viking one were good, faggotrs

Shit how?

Why does Ubisoft have the audacity to pretend that the first game never existed?

by not being targeted at you initially and using to be somewhat decent because of it, you adhd ridden sperg

because it's bad, 2 fixed the gameplay

they're pretty fun to mess around in but the games are all the same

Yes
Stop playing after Unity

I'm glad their grubby hands don't get anywhere near 1

Why did AC1 visually age better than AC2?

The first game was something new, at least, in an era when parkour was still fresh and new, and there weren't many games about something as batshit crazy as living through your ancestors memories to find the literal apple of Eden for a secret society, nor many open world games which allowed you to explore, investigate, and kill quite as satisfyingly.
Then it became stale because they didn't have that newness factor anymore.

Lots of marketing and literally zero competition

Because they're the only fucking people using those settings for games.

>literally zero competition
???

Guess the games arent as shit as you thought

It was meant to be more of what it was.
But Ubi pressured the team.

Why did Ubi release one of the best open world piracy games ever that also breathed new life into a stale franchise and then never ever follow it up with anything interesting again or even give this game a proper sequel despite its popularity and quality, only leaving behind a short spinoff not worth mentioning?

Quiet you fool, we don't want current year Ubisoft to touch AC1.

Simple
Right place, right time.
It came out in the perfect time where open ended awful tv writing began getting popular with lost, open world games where coming into their own post gta3, and the 7th gen consoles finally starting getting a decent install base.

1&2 had good story but they pissed and shit the bed on 3

Fixed lighting instead of an early day/night cycle

Why is Jade Raymond so cute, Altair bros?
