As someone that didn't play YugiOh for like 15 years and got into looking up archetypes and stuff,after realizing my blue yes deck would only take me so far, it's my favorite deck to play right now, even looked up the cards IRL for collecting purposes
and some of them are expensive as fuck

The new field spell should be fine since it's not the target.
The other spell should be fine? I'm not 100% on that one, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't trigger its own destruction.
That said, if the effect was mass removal like Feather Duster then your new field would be wiped.

Are Sky Strikers actually good? Every time I play against them they seem like a less oppressive Eldlich deck.

They're not really the same thing. Eldlich is hard lockdown, Sky Striker is midrange in that they start with strong control effects before going on the full offensive once they have the board state they want.

Not really. They're about the same power level as heroes except 2x as complex and 1/4th the price.
