By making a good game instead of shitty ones.

Has there been a worthwhile Star Fox game since 64?

First they need to remember that Star Fox exists.

Kill off Krystal

And Bring in Faye and Miyu.

Star Fox 2 was the best Star Fox game.

And making Wolf x Fox canon.

Put Sakurai in charge

make the next 64 and assault instead of yet another 64

Star fox 1 and 2 got re-released several years ago so they're nice to visit if you want to experience the games that would directly inspire star fox 64. If you're a diehard 64 fan then probably not. Closest game to 64 is star fox zero but that game has as many hits as misses when it comes to emulating star fox 64.

Basically already did that with Zero, didn't help much

Being a late wii U game long past the peak of the series sure didn't help it. I'm not going to say whether it deserves that exact score but it really is a good though fatally flawed game once you get a hang with how the game controls. A port can easily fix a lot of the issues with minimal effort and probably raise the score by at least 0.5 points.

They should make a game like it ot command again

Assault

"accidentally" put that Togepi guy in the director's seat of the next game and see what happens

Wasn't zero just a 64 remake? Sf 64 didn't have Krystal either, and yet

>Assault
Nah

Treat the series with respect and expand the gameplay in logical ways instead of redoing the same thing over and over with different gimmicks or worse yet, thinking that it's impossible to expand on the gameplay so you make a game in a completely different genre.

Also this. Needs more fun characters to help drive gameplay along.

I've answered this before.
Make a game with 3 stage types:
>Handcrafted, story-based, Rogue Squadron style misisons
>"Randiant" style procedural grind levels (which would be fun if they develop enough enemies and weapon types)
>"Open-world" mega-stages you return to again and again with changing objectives and explorable secrets

The latter stage type will have either caves for a walker/copter, or underwater for a submarine. There will be exploration to a degree, but mostly clear objectives that apply to different areas.

The way they game works is that it's like Star Fox 2 and GTA Gang Wars. You control territory. You can fight story battles to open gates and change the objectives in the open world stages. You fight the procedural levels (rails, defend base or assault base) to gain territory. If you develop an area by defending it well, it helps out with defense forces. Some story areas will be almost impossible to beat without ally support.

So you go around fighting randomized levels to gain territory strategically, which contributes to leveling up and completing crafted story missions, and all the while there are explorable open-world stages whose objectives adjust based on the overall story progress.

There would have to be multiple vehicles and a lot of customization and weapon/enemy types.

Zero is a reimagining not a remake. A remake is what star fox 64 on 3DS or the super Mario advance games are. Like star fox 64, star fox zero borrows elements like the story premise and general direction of things like levels and characters but it is a very different game. There are some moments that are clearly a homage of the games before it that inspired it but they otherwise share as much in common as typical video game sequels do to its predecessor

>Wasn't zero just a 64 remake?

Desu it's only really that storywise, the actual gameplay and controls are wildly different, for better or worse, mostly the latter.

>SF3 E C H O S
cringe fan dream names for games are fucking cringe.

Especially calling itself star fox 3 when it clearly doesn't follow the continuity of star fox 1 or 2

I got your Star Fox 3 right here

This reads like a bad fanfic

At least there's effort put into it

Assault 2 and this time the multiplayer is online
Furry battlefield.

Doesn't make it any better. Look at sonichu.

>Fara
>No Fay or Miyu
What fucking moron made this shit?
