>assume spiders are weak to fire in life too
>just pisses them off unless you sustain the flame for so long it would have been faster to just crush the bastard
>blows open egg sacs and blasts tiny spiders everywhere

no, you moron, spider is weak to poison, poison is weak to ice, ice is weak to fire and fire is weak to spider.

>just pisses them off unless you sustain the flame for so long it would have been faster to just crush the bastard
Isnt that true for all life on earth? A giant brick falling on you kills you faster than fire woukd

You'd assume a decently concentrated blast of flame would bake something that is made of flimsy carapace and juicies, but nah

>slime enemy
>not weak to ice

That's just one spider. Consider a dozen spiders stacked on the same spot.

well thats actually true
exoskeleton insects are weak to fire because fire boils their innards and joints, but you need sustained heat and the fire must be big enough
assuming you are fighting human sized spiders, a flamethrower would do a fine job if you can keep up with its relative speed

>fire dragon is weak to ice
>ice dragon is weak to fire

To be fair a human sized spider couldn't even move

>dragon is only weak to ice

Thank you, mobile infantry user. Semper fi!

>Skeleton is resistant to any physical damage that isn't blunt.

To be fair if somethings made of meat, this device will cook it.

>don't kill the spiders
>they end up killing the roaches

>flimsy
my dude it's called an exoskeleton, shit's like bones
do you know how hard it is to burn bones
we've got buildings made to burn people and even the have to get out the old woodchipper to deal with bones

>enemy in game is immune to all of your attacks
>the only way to damage them is to pick them up and bonk them against each other

yeah, except their "bones" are about as heat and pierce resistant as that plastic wrapper you get on toffee pennies

>skeletons are weak to bludgeoning attacks

shut up, realismfaggot

To be fair dog sized spiders have been known to exist in the Congo and Amazon forests.

they still do and usually they're pretty harmless to humans

Did you know that even just hot water kill roaches in 3-6 seconds? Next time one meanders into your sink you can give him the old sudoku sauna.

As a rule of thumb evolutionarily, aren't insects less venomous the larger they get?
