it's so much soulful than everything else. the soundtrack alone is probably a big part of it. it sucks that the gameplay is much rougher compared to later games (maintaining your social circle to get promotions is insanely hard, even if it's clever commentary on adult life)

The best way I found was to rotate through a number of different families which I guess is the way we were supposed to play it.
