as if anyone would know what kind of porn you like to begin with.

here's a novel idea: do it and don't tell Any Forums, 100% guaranteed success

get something with a half decent mb, case, cpu an, and not an absolute trash psu

that's it

and it's not too hard these days too

Buy a prebuilt but tell no one.

Doing something yourself can be scary

I'm not afraid to build it the prices for parts especially graphics cards are too high

Just do it.
They are good to get some pieces at cheaper price but prepare to replace some in the future.
Check the reviews because some are builded like shit and have air-problems or are too compact (making harder to replace or clean stuff).

But isn't it mandatory to post your room in battlestation threads?

Then buy the cheaper pre built and put the components in a non meme case and stop being insecure

Yes

tfw just recently ordered an Aurora R13 myself
In times like these alienware products arent that much more expensive. If you do order from dell, be sure to talk to a sales rep, they can knock up to 15% off of your order. That saved me 800€ which makes it even cheaper than a lot of the competition

How is it?

Only complaint so far is that they state their DDR5 ram is 4400mhz but they actually ship 4800mhz DDR5. Problem is apparently their motherboard is only capable of 4400mhz max.
Its a thing to consider when futureproofing but im coming from ddr3 ram so not really a problem for me

I see

This glossy case looks like a dehumidifier from 2009

The cases sure are a downgrade.
I really enjoyed their now ancient Area-51 case

That looks terrible

Thats like your opnion man. Not nearly as cringe as the meme RGB cases you get with every prebuilt nowadays.
I picked up a used one 10 years ago and built my own pc with it.

Hows this? Decent price? lytetechnology.com/product/lyte-zetta/

all of dells tech comes from india, you will never at any point, no matter how high up the phone chain you go, talk to a non pajeet, their warranty can't be trusted, also their tech support is basically a joke, if you're able to use the warranty successfully or their tech support is helpful it's pure luck of the draw.
basically they'll run you around the phone forever and always want to connect to your computer exposing your privacy, and their on site guy seems like some person they found on craigslist who may or may not try to kill you

the computer may or may not be fine but the warranty is garbage and the tech support is bad

I would recommend buying from companies that assemble them with known hardware companies than proprietary ones like alienware. Companies like alienware get their hardware from cheap generic brands that are locked into specific configuration that are not easy to upgrade.

It's not 2013 anymore, building your own PC isn't exactly viable right now unless you're just fucking made of money, so buying a prebuilt is actually a valid option now. The only people who would judge you for it now are shitcoin kikes and out-of-touch elitest lardasses. There are a few caveats though.

>do NOT buy a Dell or Alienware under ANY circumstance
>replace the PSU as soon as you get the chance, prebuilts ALWAYS cheap out on this aspect
>consider replacing the RAM and CPU cooler at some point as well, you can get a different case too if you want but make sure your mobo would fit in it first
>make sure you install a fresh copy of Windows (or Linux) because prebuilts typically come with bloat and shitware that will bottleneck performance even if it's not readily obvious when you boot into Windows
