see no matter how much they improve i can still nitpick
I am 100% sure that Gen 6 games also had those effects. And i am willing to bet that overall games like F.E.A.R. still have much more impressive tech like the one in the webm
user...
these bait threads are getting old...
ell oh ell
45 gigs for this?
>apologize after waiting additional 2 years for it to actually deliver to the bare minimum of the game with removed features from the initial promise
Apologize for what? They should Apologize to us
LMAO
Maybe one day the game will be barely playable like Fallout 4.
disgusting water
very weak particle effects based water system
>no mesh displacement
>no alembic splashing
>ripple effect looks photoshopped on
this is last gen's last gen...
>t. gamedev
sorry for what?
Shouldn't this have been in the game at launch?
your dick
CyberChads... I kneel
20 more updates like this and we're gonna have a complete game
Soon, cyberbros...
>MUH WADER!
What is this, 2004? Nobody gives a shit about water anymore, it's all about what item you get from a loot box.
i remember a directx 8.1 tech demo for my Radeon 9000pro that had better looking water than that.
>cyberpunk water
>disgusting
No shit, marcidus
KEK
>comparing techdemos to actual games
peak retard
don't even (you) @ me
PS2 couldn't handle this kind of thing. Maybe some of the ripple effects but they'd be less detailed and the game would run at 20FPS because it only has 4MB of VRAM.
That's actually pretty neat
nobody fucking cares anymore
>grenade sticks to the surface
that is the grenade indicator not the actual grenade.
@588969978
was this a nigga moment?
user, it was a tech demo for a card with 64MB of vram from 2002....
Why should there be a grenade indicator for a grenade the player threw? They know where they sent it.
Good morning kurwa! Buy our game ja pierdole!
wtf is cyberpunk 2077?
...
>put in the bare minimum effort to add water surface reactions that still look like shit
Why even put the work in if you're not going to make anything good
Yeah, a test where 100% of the GPU's resources went to rendering one object. It would take at least 5 years for GPUs to be able to render that kind of thing reliably in a game where it has to render a ton of other things as well.
