I never really liked how much people oversell Nintendo games as a whole. Honestly I think OOT a very good game with plenty of flaws, yet remains a very solid adventure title.

Not sure. I played all the big N64 games as a kid and I maybe have a bit of nostalgia for Zelda, but Saturn blows the whole console out of the water as an adult. Mario and Zelda were revolutionary at the time and deserve all the praise they get, but I'll never touch an N64 again. Probably an EOP thing.

It's funny, I have all the N64 games in existence thanks to emulation. I will on occasion browse through the collection and play one or the other. It's absolutely mind-blowing how OoT towers above everything else. There is no game with that sense of polish and incredible design. It's no wonder than managed to just make a 1:1 remake of it for the 3DS over a decade later and have it hold up, it's a truly phenomenal game.
