Recently started playing this and I'm in love. Any other games that combine pokemon and dungeon crawling so flawlessly like this? Love the setting and artstyle, the music is so good, gameplay fun and doesn't hold your hand while not being too hard, it's great any more dungeon crawlers I should check out? I have already played Persona 5 and it's not my cup of tea. Also I know of the other SMT games that I'll get to eventually but is there any other series I should check out?

I've been playing V and absolutely loving the shit out of it. So much fusing, so much love put into the animations. Constantly having to change your party to meet challenges. The environments are fun to explore and you get rewarded with tangible gameplay benefits through Glory. If you need any more convincing, listen to this fucking OST

Mediocre for some maybe, but good enough for me. If you're going to recommend SJ or EO that's a level of autism that I don't think I can commit to. I just want a game that is equal parts pokemon, final fantasy, and (non-first person) dungeon crawling, Nocturne does this well.
I can get into autistic games there are just certain turnoffs, first person dungeon crawling and very low-fidelity low-resolution games are not the best for me. They don't emulate well, I don't have a DS, I was never really into JRPGs before they turned 3D anyways. That Siralim game does look cool though because I'm more fond of it's top-down perspective in the overworld.
