I swear Death Egg Robot gets bigger with every iteration. In Sonic 2 he's like the size of 2 or 3 Sonics. In Generations hes a fucking goliath and in Forces they're big enough to crush cities and then there's this one which looks fucking massive.

He was giantic in S3K and even more so in Mania.

It's clear 2K is either just a prototype or limiations at the time.

I wonder if the next one will have Metal Sonic, Shadow or both.

I mean Metal is the next logical selling point, but Shadow is probably more popular. Plus GUN is already established as a thing in the movie world so SA2 might be a good plotline to cap off the trilogy (assuming it ends at 3 movies).
