Sonybros.. Why are our games so unsuccessful compared to what Nintendo has to offer?
Even after quickly slashing their prices down to bargain bucket levels and porting them to PC we still can't compete...

the age of tranny games is over; the age of games is here

Compare to a similar genre, for example BotW with 25.80M on Switch is not that far off

>45m sales for a port
EA and Activision wish they were even 1% as successful as Nintendo in conniving retards out of their money.

>sold over 20 MILLION
What this means is that they shipped over 20 million. That's what it always means. And for some reason companies NEVER fucking disclose digital downloads, whether or not the game is successful.

There's like a dozen PS5s plugged in, the rest are still boxed on a scalper's floor. If those dozen users aren't playing Horizon, they need to incentivize them

>sold
They gave the game away for free like twice

Which one are you talking about?

>Compare to a similar genre, for example BotW with 25.80M on Switch is not that far off
If BotW was $15 and on PC it would sell 50 million+

No, sold means sold nigger retard

Mario Kart and Animal Crossing are meme games that have been around for decades. Literal children played these games and are now adults with children of their own ... or in the case of many of you, you are at least adults now. Not a great comparison. Also, it's not gay to be in love with Aloy, is it?

Horizon was given for free (gratis) last year, and it also was part of PS+ for a month I believe

Horizon was given away for free both in PS+ and for permanently at different times, just like Mario Kart the game is also a bundle in, thats not even to mention the fact that the game is $10 while Mario Kart is $60
>Also, it's not gay to be in love with Aloy, is it?
If you like Nikocado Avacado, then sure

No, assuming Zelda games were commomly ported to PC, than most people would be used to the name, >but muh emulation, one thing that makes nintendo games so desirable to emulate is because they aren't available otherwise, 99% of the time I play a nintendo game on an emulator it just makes me realize how bland they are.

Without counting the Wii U version which sold around 2m
(Under 2.2m but above 1.5)
BotW was never really discounted though.

Mario Kart 8 is in a bundle, that cost $60 more than a normal console.
So you save absolutely nothing by buying it \o/

Oh shit, I didn’t even know that, that makes it even funnier

That bundle isn't made or sold anymore.

LMAO cope harder retard
they don't say shipped,
they don't say downloads,
they say sold
ps plus has 47 million users it would be more inflated if they counted the downloads you could only play it for free for a month in the play at home section
Go dilate nigger

Nintendo has a tight grip on their proprietary IPs that most fans consider "mandatory" when they buy a system. I'm not saying Ninty's game aren't good, in fact the Mario Kart series is very good, fun and since they have a dev team tailoring the games to their hardware, it runs, looks and plays like a charm but think about it for a second; does anyone owns a Switch without a Mario game? Odyssey, Kart, NSMB or any of their other 1st party IPs? Zelda, Smash, Fire Emblem and now Kirby. All those are great games but at their core, those are all 1st parties made with a lot of care and tailored for the Switch... but only for the Switch. Sony and Microsoft's consoles are more of an open market and usually get better versions of 3rd party gamers but as the market is bigger, the offer is larger, the competition is more fierce and large sales numbers get diluted. There are no "1st party exclusives" tailor made for neither those consoles or "mandatory" games, moreso now that everything gets ported to PC.

TL;DR: Lots of 1st parties make them more of a closed market, move more numbers for one game and guarantee Nintendo a full control of the market. More 3rd parties means a more open market, lower prices and more competition.

Sure it is, horizon has been on sale for like $5 lmao
