PCSX2 is over

PCSX2 is over.

elaborate?

No, don't.
I don't care.

>not playing with the internal resolution up

>finally I can stretch out and blow up PS2 games for viewing on my shitty 1080p LCD

>No save states
>No 1440p
>No widescreen patches
> No portability
>No antialiasing
> No Turbo
> Forced to buy some adapter in order to use any controller I want.
>No mods without autstic patching
No thanks.

>>No 1440p
>have to press F9 for any game to work anyway
>stuck at same res as consoles
emugroids, why are they always making shit up?

>have to press F9 for any game to work
this hasn't been true since early 2010 dumb retardbro who are still stuck with the """""""stable""""""" version

>i bet your modern tv is shit heh heh heh
get a grip

Nigga when as the last time you used PCSX2? 2012?

>F9
>resolution doesn't matter anyways

I have a raspberry pi running an smb with higher compatibility than this thing. Why would you pay for this when smb is free and easy.

SMB sucks and you need a dedicated offline device to use securely, which costs more than this.

>save states
Get the fuck off this board you casual scum

Just don't use it during battle and what's the issue? Unless you literally save your state after every action which no one does, save states don't really help you win.

>2022
>still no good PS2 ODE
>all piracy methods are still ghetto as fuck with compatibility issues out the ass

emucasuals are pussies that need save cheats lol

And not a single negative was listed.

>die to a boss
>game over pushes you to title screen
>load game
>run back to the boss
>takes 5 minutes, no skill was involved in moving from save point to boss room
>make save state just outside of the boss room
>load save state
>takes 5 seconds and you can try again
it's just called being smart with your time

name 5 games.

Playing on original hardware beats all of these, zoomer.

No, pretty sure its called being a casual unable to beat the games.

criminal man.
the one for the dreamcast is incredible and now I want one for everything.

> Man I LOOOOOOVE watching non skippable cutscenes every time I want to try to fight the boss again! I HAVE NO JOB XD

The original hardware was the windows computer they used to make it, user.

Even besides that, plenty of PS2 games have PC ports anyway so your argument doesn't even work.

Only if you have one of two autistic setups and don't mind fucking with hardware: a CRT or a modern TV with an obscene amount spent on oopscooling tech. Most people don't have that, and PS2 hardware looks like shit on what they have.

fat ps2 + opl on a free mcboot mc + bitfunx modded network adater + sata hdd = ODE functionality

final fantasy x
>get to zanarkand and meet yunalesca
>10 minute cutscene
>immediately fight her
>yunalesca uses mega death (100% chance to kill your entire party)
>back to title screen
>have to watch the entire unskippable cutscene again

fuck you nerds, i'm save-stating

>The original hardware was the windows computer they used to make it, user.

No. The desktops used to make the games didn't have the full suite of diagnostic tools. Game creation requires tools and hardware and software that satisfies numerous purposes. Even today special hardware which provides distinct diagnostic information on games are used to develop them. I don't know why reddit told you this was a good argument, it's a terrible one really.

Does this support ps1 games?

>No longer own a CRT
>Guncon 2 is utterly worthless without one
>I bought every time crisis and several other light-gun PS2 games
>haven't been able to play any in the 5 years I've owned them

>you must rewatch the cutscenes every time you fail, it's part of the punishment
No.

The dirty secret about PS1 games on PS2 is that it's actually much harder to do. TonyHax works on my fat PS2, though. Bit of a pain in the ass and needs discs, but it works.

Smb is literally the best option. What are you talking about lmao. It has the highest compatibility.

Ignore this fuckhead. Half of this site is saying contrarian shit to make people mad. He knows it's a stupid waste of time. Just want you to know you're not alone in thinking this.
