Most of the older games aged like shit.
Dishonored 1 is still good, it's just the second improved on it in every way. Except the story, which was trash.

Idk how the rating system works so I'm just gonna give my thoughts. This 3x3 is tremendously based in all entries except Hitman III. I was never impressed by any of the Hitman games I played.

The gameplay was improved, but story, and especially setting/atmosphere were fucking massacred. Also I didn't like some of the gimmicks like the time swap one, so D1 will always be my favorite of them. Also D1 artstyle>D2

3 is a stand-in for the complete trilogy. If I had to rate each season individually, I’d say 2 was the best season overall. 3 with all DLC is the finished product though.
As for why I rate it over the older Hitmans, the nu-trilogy has the best gameplay and level design in the series, bar none.
