Overall peak of the series is 4, the camapign is so well designed it's almost strange but
>Best Over The Shoulder is 4
>Best Classic is REmake
>Best Spinoff is Outbreak 2
>Best Nu-game by default is REmake 2 but it fails to reach any sort of peak in comparison to the others

REmake is, 2 original is close behind.
4 is the last canon game, and a great game, though.
5 and 6 are fun, but terrible representations of the series, similar to Breath of the Wild. Pity those that didn’t bro-op it up through 5 and 6 with their chums.

The facts why RE2 Remake is one of the worst RE games of all time
>Bullet sponge enemies
>Gunplay is dogshit
>Reuses same audio for nearly every pistol
>Boss fights feel no different to regular enemy fights
>Barely any set pieces in boss fights
>Game is pathetically short
>Padded out game duration through item management and back-tracking for puzzle pieces
>Dumbed down puzzles which become extremely trivial after a few playthroughs due to the linearity of them
>Removed key scenes from the original
>A and B scenarios... no comment
>Westernized ugly characters made Claire look autistic and Leon look like a derpy nerd
This is all in the year 2019 when games like Sekiro, Death Stranding, Gears 5 and many more were all available and providing more to the third person shooter genre.

Pretty much, as RE games 5 and 6 aren't great, but playing them with a bro was hilarious, the ganes were designed with 2 characters in mind after all

I understand it was them cheaping out, because they needed to make entire movies for them, but I was so disappointed that Leon didn’t run into Sherry or Claire running into Ada.
Most egregious sin of 2 remake is the side A/B thing.

Has anyone else had an issue with RE2make and the water textures? In the police station specifically, the water texture looks horrible and fuzzy. I only saw this when I upgraded to a 4k TV and PS5
