I don't think I like the original game that much.

Yes, but it won't matter anyway. They probably have a three million sale threshold, or something.

Never lose hope!

It helps that this will be released on everything

>They probably have a three million sale threshold, or something.
If this collection sells 3 million, it's more then what Mega Man 11 would have sold, which is still under 2 million. At least Klonoa fans would actually put their money where there mouth is.

I think I will because I’ve never had played a Klonoa game before and it looks like it’s up my alley. I love cute platformers like Kirby and Starfy, so Klonoa wouldn’t be any different.

The point is that if there is a greenlight benchmark to reach, it will be far too unrealistically high.

Yes, Klonoa 2 is probably the most nostalgia inducing game ever for me

if they were actually good remasters they could maybe sell that much.. maybe. but they're cheap shitty cash grabs made with no care or standard of quality so they wont sell that much.

Are they worth playing if I never played the originals?

This is gonna be $60. It should really include Empire of Dreams and Dream Champ Tournament too.

Yes 100% worth it

game is 44 bucks on play asia so it's not a 60 dollar release

If it comes out physically, yes.

do it for chandler

I'll buy it just to support this series, but I also want it to be good and I want to properly play Klonoa 2 without fucking with PCSX2. Everyone who complained about Namco's shit marketing and Klonoa's death, buy it and maybe he will live on

Reminder that these are on Playstation and PC; there's no need to waste money on the Stitch version (which is already confirmed to not run as well as other versions). I agree with paying rather than pirating; you want Chandler from Friends to kick his drug addiction and move on to a Klonoa porn addiction instead, right?

All the Encore games (what the line of Namco remasters is called in Japan) like Katamari and Mr. Driller, were $30 each. Klonoa should also be $30 at launch to follow the pricing of other Namco remasters.

Physical must be more since thats what mr. driller encore is, so game is probably around 30 bucks digitally like you said

It has preorder DLC costumes. I'm confused as to what extra shit they might stuff into the ports.

Imagine cuddling with klonoa in bed

At most they'll let you use the Wii version costumes and design for 1. 2 won't have anything notable at all

>buy a shit port with horrible graphics, missing animations, no shading and a blinding bloom filter forming a product that is not only so much worse but an insult to the originals.

NO

bad costumes on the already bad models some pajeet made.

>Stitch version

Must you insist upon yourself multiple times each thread, user? What did Klonoa ever do to you?

nothing. I love those klonoa games which is why I will never buy this garbage.

An interesting issue concerning about waiting for the non-Switch ports as it is not know when it will come out and the higher ups at Namco may only look at the Switch numbers to see if Klonoa should continue or not.
