it's fun

>no source besides smb2
who gives a shit who a bunch of random internet nerds give "game of the year" to

it's a zelda game that isn't bad

Desperation for Zelda to become relevant after being raped by Ueda's games for 20 years.

Impressive. Very nice.

Let's see TLOU2's card.

Nintendo bonus

TLoU2’s competition was non-existent and in terms of sales it was still beaten by Animal Crossing, which is still relevant to this day lol.

Incredible journobait game. 90% of the game's attention to detail was in the first 30 minutes which is all they play.

why is your mom such a massive whore?

Journalists have no taste. Other games have more awards and sold more by the way. They all don't count though. I wonder why.

BotW has more mass market appeal.
Want a challenge?
Don't upgrade your hearts, maybe just run straight at the castle.
Want casual comfy adventure game?
Follow the main questline and trek around.
Fight smart and you'll fight well.

Any game on that list you could argue for being better is also "problematic" to journos so that plays a major part in them being btfo by the tendy games.

Because retards would literally buy cardboard if it had Nintendo on it

Nintendo tax
also,

This is what people like about BotW though. It’s a game that actually lets you play the way you want to play with few restrictions. I’ve done 4 playthroughs so far and they have all been pretty different experiences (normal, Master mode, no heart/stamina upgrade, no glider and eating only at inns/campfires). It’s a game you can continually go back to. The rest of the games on the list are also good games, but once you’ve done a playthrough of those games, there isn’t much reason to go back to replay them.

TLOU2 won more GOTY awards than the total number that existed in 2017.

And that was also because all the little Snoy outlets made GotY awards in order to give TLoU the award.

ubisoft but for japanese basedboys

Assassin's creed audience

Give your three 2017 contenders
>Prey
>Darkwood
>Opus Magnum

Mindless Nintendronies being impressed over a boring mess of a open world game, a blatant copy of Ubisoft's open world formula

You're a drooling retard then to play this shit game 4 times
