I don't recall Any Forums shitting on Remember Me, but it has been a long time. The only thing I could see is them calling it a Movie Game which it is and the meh Bamham combat. Christ--if it came out TODAY with how politicized this board's become? Man...

it did come out when "interactive" games were shit on alot even though the game wasnt a walking dead movie I only remember them constantly making fun of it for having a linear storyline

Oh yeah it's extremely linear. The gameplay's also disappointing since before release, the devs mentioned you could make customized combos kinda' like God Hand from what I remember, but it ended up being pre-set combos you could attach stats to which barely switched up combat. At least Nilin's cute and remember really liking the graphics and world design.

>boring bamham style glorified QTE combat, which the game forces you to slightly modify all the time with popup tutorials
>asscreed style automated platforming which is completely pointless
>memory wiping storyline that could go anywhere, but doesn't go anywhere aside from some boring family drama that I can't even remember
