I mean ya people that kill themselves tend not to come back. Like 3 years ago he made a sort of what happened to me post on reddit. Just tldr he grew out of video games and didnt want to make his channel a zombie where he played games he didnt enjoy and he didnt want to change what kind of channel it was. The golden joystick just happened to be a convenient out for him. He had an alt ending if he was rigged to win somehow where he planned on going mad with power and prestige before becoming a hermit.
