The reason I suggested it is I helped a buddy swap out his ssd because he wanted a ps5 but couldn't get one.
Load times and framerates were noticeably higher on the pro in stuff like bloodborne, ghost of Tsushima and sekiro which is all he plays anyway.

To be fair, a lot of PS4 games run way better on PS5 than PS4. If you never had a PS4 then I'd 100% suggest just getting a PS5 instead but if you had one then there's really no reason.
