This is my exact problem with the entire MMZ/Gunvolt series.

Normal taught me too many bad habits i have to get rid off again.
I think the worst part is the lives in hard. I don't mind any of the other changes. but fuck only having like 3 shots at a boss before you have to do the whole stage again.

Thats true, but stages take like 2 minutes if you just ignore the score and rush to the end to practice the boss

The lives system is trash, but you could always go to another stage and farm them.

Second half of the space stage has two really close to one another, so you can farm a ton easily and quickly, which is what I did. You'll need Gatling Blitz for the first one though.

Yeah, that's the biggest problem right now. Only beat the first stage so i don't have any of the skills required for the good spots. And i don't really know where to start.
What's the weaknesses in hard mode anyway?

If we're including non Inti games then you might as well count Blade Strangers and Indie Pogo for Gunvolt.

So which is the fan favorite? I personally like Copen way more than Gunvolt. Something about how autistic he can be just sits right with me.

Usually I would say Copen because racism is fun and so is being a jetplane pinball thing. But I think that view is kinda skewed since it's been almost 6 years since GV has been playable so it has been a really long while.
Here's hoping they do something interesting with his development in GV3 given the sumeragi shenanigans.

At least in terms of gameplay Copen seems more beloved, personally I like Copen more as well in terms of both gameplay and personality (yes both).
