They've always been shit. World and RE7 were just as garbage as Rise and RE8 and DMC5 was trash too.
For the DLC to fix RE8 it would have to go into the main game and completely overhaul a bunch of design and systems, which is never gonna happen. It's just gonna be a shit like extra epilogue.

RE7 is a good game with or without the great dlcs, Any Forums simply couldn't afford it before
They're hitting record profits and becoming incredibly boring. Investors now love them and everything that's not Resident Evil or Monster Hunter is low on the totem pole.
The only interesting games they have coming in the pipeline is Pragmata and Dragon's Dogma 2.

RE3 nemesis is my favorite game of all time i dont think RE3make reaches the same heights but as a reimagining i liked it a lot
Sure it was short but it was very well paced and had a lot of replay value
RE8 already disappointed me by being so heavily invested in gunplay. There should have been more creative ways to interact with enemies. Shooting limbs and roundhouse kicking them was better than what we got
Nah, there's plenty that like it. Most people that hate it are determined to do so for largely petty reasons that have nothing to do with the quality of the game itself.
