Garbage mod gets released for half life with game breaking bug that means shots never hit where you are aiming

>garbage mod gets released for half life with game breaking bug that means shots never hit where you are aiming
>valve jumps to commercialize it but doesn't even make them fix the bug
>22.5 years and numerous releases later the bug is still ever-present and it's seen as an esports game based entirely around coping mechanisms to deal with the bug and hit someone by chance

I think even Halo is less embarrassing as an "esport", at least it actually works

go ahead, dump the webms

Pavlov is better in every way

Do people still play CSS? Is it worth reinstalling it or has everyone moved onto CSGO (or stayed on 1.6)?

did he just shoot where the minimap said there was an enemy?

Tons of people still play CSS in 2022. The last time I was into it was 2015 and there are less people on it now compared to then but still more than enough players to make it your FPS of choice to play daily.

a couple pixels of the enemy head peeks out

I don’t get the appeal of counter strike at all.

Does Valorant have the same recoil bullshit?

It's free, it's competitive, it runs on toasters and it has a bunch of loot crate tier shit with skins. Perfect combination for poor third worlders.

What the hell are you even talking about? You know nothing.
Every gun in CS and its sequels (lol) has pattern for firing.
Meanwhile HALO series has system that is way more RNG and fucks over everyone in Multiplayer. Its called BLOOM. Reticular and Randomness of shot gets worse more you fire.

I meant in general, GO definitely is all what you say though

its appealing for lowest common demoninator

>aspect ratio
never gonna take this game seriously until they remove the ability to do that shit or just let you change this fov

Are you talking about...recoil?

Recoil should bump up the crosshair, not shoot away from it.

>shots never hit where you are aiming
Filtered, noob.
CS:S has more active players than Battlefield 2042 as well, lmao.

It does bump up the crosshair retard have you even played the game

I play it for the community servers. Far superior to CS:GO in terms of skill, movement etc. and the community doesn't take itself too seriously.
I'd argue the art style is better as well, less cartoonish.

>Why yes, I only play gungame/arms race mode. What gave it away?

And shoots away from it.

Zombie modes are still hella fun.
They are gimped on CS:GO and the new maps are dogshit, they play PvE more than PvP and it's all mini-games shit.

Go back to Call of Duty, nigger.

At least complain about the real dumb shit, like how you could shoot through certain wall spots in 1.6 that made no sense, like the spot in de_dust2's tunnel to B plant site.

I kinda liked danger zone when it came out.

>shots never hit where you are aiming
What did he mean by this?
Are spray patterns a new concept for zoomers?

>NOOOOOOOOOO EVERY SHOOTER HAS TO BE THE SAME HOW DARE THIS ONE HAVE DIFFERENT SHOOTING MECHANICS THAT I HAVE TO LEARN

Why Valve kept making CS games after 1.6? It peaked then

You would rather have the screen violently shake left to right?

CS was never good & was made by a chink named gooseman who sucked at quake. pic related describes exactly why even original CS sucked despite it not being an ironsights game, it had similar mechanics where your guns have 0 accuracy unless your feet are planted on the ground and you are not moving at all

Attached: ironsights are shit.png (884x1543, 122.46K)

But it's not mechanics. It's a bug that wasn't patched.

Monetization.

Do you think it's a bug in css and csgo too?

>22.5 years and numerous releases later the bug is still ever-present and it's seen as an esports game based entirely around coping mechanisms to deal with the bug and hit someone by chance
The same can be said of rocket jumping.
