FF7R might be a bit better or just behind it, i like how you can go SNES mode

It bored the shit out of me. I love jrpgs and almost play them exclusively. Got 20 hours into dq11 and stopped. Shit was so boring and generic. Kept expecting it to get good or not boring but it never happened

I ended up buying it twice and never getting around really playing it, was the story really tight and easy to follow or did it leave a lot to the imagination. Also how were the characters? I don’t think I got it a third time on psn so was the edition later released on Switch worth buying again? What’s different between launch edition and the newer one

I basically never play JRPGs, but I loved this one

I love her so much. Shame you can’t really marry her. Just be friends that live together.

Where'd you get this picture of my wife

>that was released in the last 5 years

If we're counting only Act 1? Sure. Game goes to pot afterwards and drags on for 70 more hours which really brings it down.

This was our wedding day, please stop stalking my wife.

I stopped at act 1 and I'm content with what I experienced

SOVL

Her feet are mine, I will suck them

I'd give it to Automata, but DQXI is top 5.

Absolutely fucking not.

Please give back the time I wasted on this shit

if this game had more music variety it would be a lot better

>i like how you can go SNES mode

I saw that as well on the steam page, how does that work exactly? It's the only thing keeping me from buying this

You can choose to play the game in 2D classic style or 3D modern style. You can switch at any time

>I'd give it to Automata
not an rpg

That's unfortunate

The same game can be played in either 3D or 2D modes. From start to finish. You can change at any time in a church, but you are usually sent back to a previous point in the game, many hours sometimes, so changing isn't without consequences.

I got to the third act a month ago and suddenly had a lot of bullshit come up. I need to get back to it.

I didn't get too much further than the second continent before slowly quitting it. It's a cute game with a reasonably fun battle system and wonderful aesthetics, but I'll forever be an FFfag.
