I’m playing it with my housemate and he just doesn’t want to get that. Like he’s watched all the lore videos and shit and this my first god of war right, so he’s telling me that Zeus and Ares fucked over Kratos so they all have it coming, his motives are understandable, etc.
But it’s like dude, he caused Greece (the world?) to get flooded, unleashed a plague, murders innocents by indiscriminately swinging his blades around, tied a girl to chain wheel to hold a door open which causes here to be crushed to death, etc etc etc
Kratos is a blatant sociopath and it worries me that the guy relates so hard to him.

I've never played God of War 2018 but honestly it looks really boring. I loved God of War back in the day because it was insanely over-the-top gore and ridiculous, stupid action, but the 2018 one looks like The Last Of Us set in Norse mythology
