HAL usually does a better job with their anniversary. The 25th gave 2 e-shop games, a spin-off, the announcement of Star Allies, which was basically the anniversary game with the callbacks & dream friends, a twitter account that constantly posted new artwork, and the concert with guest appearances of Sakurai and Kirby's VA.

the last remake they made was Super Star Ultra and before that was Nightmare in Dreamland, noticed they did it for 2 eras straight then stopped, wonder what stopped them from remaking a Kirby for the 3DS

Kind of hoping Kirby 64 gets remade just so Crystal Tards can see just how mediocre the game is without their nostalgia goggles. Combo powerups is a neat idea, but that's literally the only good thing about the game. (And even then most of them are useless aside from a cute animation. After about 5 minutes of experimentation this gets boring and the game loses its only good point.) Kirby is slow and clunky asf even for his own series, the multiplayer aspect teased but never actually used is soulcrushing, the level design is abysmal, and nothing about the OST is memorable.
Air Ride with an online mode for City Trial would be awesome though.
