Either the PS1, PS2, PSP, or PC games. Also kind of crazy Ghost in the Shell never got a big budget AAA release.
Are any of the Ghost in the Shell video games worth playing?

the Major is built for black cock
I don't know if any game could give you the kind of mobility you'd need to play as someone like the major.
Would be pretty kino to jump around the city and use all the gadgets like thermoptic camo.
>tfw can't get First Assault on the private server working
first assault would have been great if the tickrate wasn't like 5
Starting to think they made the ScarJo movie bad on purpose. Oh well, I'll always have the first two movies, all the SAC stuff and the first volume of the manga.
The ps1 game is ok.

Do any of the games let you hack the enemies and control them like Psy-Ops?
Major is only for lesbian sex, user. I find it interesting how the live action GITS film deleted the scene of her kissing the prostitute that was in the trailers.
God damn Arise sucked so hard. Why has SAC been such a hard act to follow?
Because sac was good that's why.
Its the perfect show, no anime or tv will ever get close.
I don't know about the anime but the movies are pretty good, iirc.
PS1 game is decent. Nothing too special but it's a fun arcadey mech game you can kill an afternoon with.
I haven't given the movie a chance because I was so turned off by the OVAs.
I meant the SAC OVAs, what did you not like in them? The '95 ova is also really good.
I thought you were talking about ARISE. SAC was great.
The first movie is unmatched.

I mean, at this point wouldn't it be better to just directly interface with the device instead of relying on manual inputs?
I'm assuming you're talking about GitS 1995 and not the ARISE movie.
I think its so normal people could operate it too. But bots just can operate it faster or same as people.
They were dealing with a top level hacker/AI that could hack cyberbrains. Direct interfacing would be too much of a risk.
>directly interface with the device
security risk considering cyber brains are a thing.
