You are the first person I've seen talk about this game on this godforsaken board.
You are my nigga.

The game is fucking great.

It's like Doom Eternal but good

I haven't played Doom eternal personally, but it does execute on its core concept of essentially mashing together Doom and Borderlands in a roguelike extremely well. The only fault I've found with it is that I find most of the green weapons pretty underwhelming, but that could also just be my playstyle.

I tried it in July of last year and it really didn't grab me, especially in comparison to Gunfire Reborn. I need to give it another shot, it's had a bunch of updates.

Yeah, it is pretty nice, although I am not sure if I like the new changes to stats etc.

Where's the porn of them?

I will say that for someone who wants more ROGUELITE than FPS, Gunfire is a better choice. I have been wanting a FPS game that had roguelite mechanics and Roboquest captures this perfectly. Your success does not rely on RNG or weird shit, but your git gud aim. The pace is blisteringly fast in comparison to Gunfire, which I like.

This. Gunfire shooting and enemies feels like ass compared to robo.

It makes me feel like I'm good at shootergames again.
Only thing I don't like is EXP orbs dropping and expiring, but I understand the devs want to force a fast and risky balls-deep kind of game.

Never heard of this before.
Shill me your game, dev user.

Looks like non-furry gunfire reborn

I have ADHD unironically and this game is like injecting dopamine directly into my brain. It is unlike any fast-paced game I have played. It's so fucking good. I actually fear I will wake up one day and the devs completely fuck up or abandon the game before it has a chance to grow.

op here - i bought gunfire reborn but didn't like it at all. not really sure what to point out, but i didn't like the gameplay or the pace. i refunded it and yolo bought roboquest because i heard it was fast. it's fucking fast. this is the 2nd time I've bought a game without doing research and ended up loving it. the first was vermintide 2.

Got this game half a year ago and the updates actually does seems meaningful to the gameplay,
now i just wish having 2 weapon wasn't so useless once you get a good one due to unlimited ammo and end up using it until you get that perk that remove second weapon to boost the only one you carry, which is honestly my biggest grip about this game.
Exp drops only harvested when near makes green ranged weapons useless since you still gotta sprint to get the exp, green weapons has to be my least used category of weapons because of that unless it's the automatic crossbow

aside my nitpicking, this game is a solid 8/10 time waster, hope we'll get to see more areas and open levels

Second weapon is useful because you automatically reload holstered weapons, so you can switch weapons instead of reloading to keep dishing out damage instead of wasting time reloading. It makes taking two weapons with really long reload times tolerable.

Visual style in Gunfire is putrid + it's chinese made so those 2 things put me off. Robo Quest gameplay feels better imo but there's less content

i've been looking forward to this game for years and keep people saying it's really great, but I recall devs saying it will be on gamepass but it was a long time ago and I'm still waiting for it

it's coming to gamepass when it comes out of early access, I think?

that's what I thought then, I just checked and they're expecting the release for this summer

agree on your points. it's funny because I don't like this type of aesthetic with the cell shaded/roboty shit, but the gameplay just jives with me perfectly.
