Protons have weight, so it wouldn't be 1 to 1 weight.

why wouldn't this work

indie games are actually about gameplay sometimes. very few modern big budget games are about gameplay. they're about story or visuals or cooming or something

then give examples of good indie games

If it was easy to add or remove protons and neutrons to atoms to make elements, then there would be no rare elements and the values of the currently rare ones would plummet.

Witcher 3

Came here to post this.

Removing protons is hard.

It technically works, but it creates an unstable isotope of gold, so it eventually decays away. You also wouldn't get enough of it.

this couldve been a thread about games with good alchemy systems. you flubbed it, op.

Because you need absurdly high amounts of energy, and not only that, nothing ensures that you can remove just one proton. It would be mostly "exploding" the mercury atom, and then grab those who happen to form gold atoms.
TLDR: Imposible for humans, only made on stars, and its random.

i could do it

I'm just going to need about 1 kg of gold as proof. You can deliver it any time you like.

Just because you can't git gud doesn't mean we can't.

>make my homework
No. Stay poor, lol

I did it once

>remove 0.5% of the mass of a mercury atom
>this somehow reduces the mass of the atom by 99.93%

Sorry i could do it but i don't want to

But did you know that all of Earth's Helium will be depleted in the next 15-20 years?

>tfw business major and know nothing about science or engineering or computers

Would my dick mass increase thousandfold if I add protons to it?

What the fuck, don't we need that to breathe? What are we gonna do, bros?

Why are business majors so ubiquitous in the US?

I believe the result comes from neutron bombardment which is really fucking inefficient

>business major
fuck you

This is literally how sci-fi replicators will work
