probably not

Who knows. I doubt it tho. If it's a sequel then they have to pick one of the main endings and in general probably soft retcon some things or ignore them. Most likely destroy since it's easiest to write about, with less big implications.
Other things will probably just not matter or you will be able to do save editor in the game itself like for dragon age insquisitor.
Only big choices out of main endings are krogan cure and geth/quarian alliance or no alliance.

>geth/quarian alliance
Destroy ending kills all the geth

Not likely

Yeah, but theoretically it still might be important because you could ally just geth, or ally them with quarians and from there it can matter if they pick destroy but somehow bring back the geth.

they'll have different openings that all explain how the galaxy got to the state its in, but destroy will make the most sense. for control ending they'll say all the reapers and robots left one day without saying why and took the relays with them, if you went synthesis they'll say one day it failed and all the robots exploded horrifically and all the humans went back to normal. destroy will be the same.

what they should do is explain that the ending of 3 was really happening but shepard was being indoctrinated slowly by harbinger and canonize the destroy ending.

If they had any spine, they'd go with one of the endings of ME3 and make that the canon ending to build off of. But I bet they'll do some prequel shit and make a First Contact game instead.

Probably, if the new game is a sequel, with the sales the did with LE, just so as to not disappoint their fans. If it's a standalone game no, but if it's a sequel I'm pretty sure yes.

>indoctrination theory
Already debunked by BioWare themselves, also dumb.

>save import function still broken after several years on the og trilogy
>people expect nu-Bioware to handle importing 3-4 games worth of saves when they can't handle 1 game
No

The geth in the milky way at least
If the geth really are behind the initiative then it's not impossible
Also Liara didn't have space aids in the teaser so it has to be either control or destroy

Of course it's dumb/retconned, they're making a sequel to milk more. Perfect ending to bookend the trilogy though.

This
Destroy, curing the genophage, quarian/geth peace, and all of your squadmates surviving will be canon, they're the most popular outcomes and the writers can't possibly accommodate any other choices

>Already debunked by BioWare themselves, also dumb.
a bioware dev literally said he wished they would have though of something like that

watch this, its crazy how much the devs are split on ME3 even today

>he didn't get the perfect ending where Shepard survives
It's obviously going to be canon.

>still playing nu effect
What is wrong with you?

>opens with the anti white racist

This fucking this, bioware is dead and so is mass effect until a new studio gets the baton pass, fuck EA

that guy has his own studio now
dont think he released a game yet
and its pretty much exactly the type of shit that youd expect from him

I look forward to them going bankrupt

None of you remember the beginning of Mass Effect 3 where they ask you questions about your choices in the previous games as part of a cut scene dialogue?

In all honesty though the decisions made in 1-3 were such galaxy changing decisions this will likely be set in a time/place far enough away from the main plotline to make it irrelevant.
If it wasn't for the ship being in the picture I'd say we're getting a prequel.
