I'm good with this I don't think a remake is necessary.

I said the same thing when I played RE2 but the remake was really good and gave the original game a whole new twist. Remakes are fun! You can't even move and shoot for god's sake the enemies are slow as balls it bores me to death
Soulless
If anything this is just going to make the inevitable remake sting less when it's not even remotely the same game anymore.
I don't even think there will be a remake. Not much point. It's too similar to modern game design as is
Is this from the HD Project? Looks pretty good. I played an incomplete version of it like 2 years ago. Gonna need to check it out again.
What would a remake of this even look like? I just replayed through the game, and it's kind of perfect, still. Pacing on the island is kind of fucked up and needs tuning IMO, but I can't imagine any changes to the gameplay being good.
You WILL like the remake and you WILL buy it for $69.99.
>want to replay 4
>remember most of the castle
>remember the island
>remember ashley
Nah, I'll just replay REmake for the 16th time
It would be nice that they cancel REmake4 to focus in Revelations3 and RE9
Ashley is the best part of RE4 because it lets me easily self insert into the game
>tfw Leon S. Kennedy catches you as you jump off the top of a ladder
>tfw Leon S. Kennedy assertively holds your hand and leaves a cut scene
>tfw Leon S. Kennedy looks up your skirt
There's lots of little things that could use some work, like weapon upgrades being locked until you reach specific points in the game (really hurts some guns like the starting pistol that need their exclusive to work or the Killer7 being laughably useless due to how late it's available and the other magnum being both free and ultimately more powerful in the end)
I also don't like how the game assumes you always have certain weapons in your inventory, which basically forces you to carry a certain amount of ammo for weapons you're not using so that enemies will stop dropping that ammo and instead drop the ammo you are using. E.g. You want to replace your handgun with the TMP but enemies will continue to drop handgun ammo anyway until you hold onto two inventory clogging bricks of handgun ammo. A similar thing happens if you fancy the idea of replacing the shotgun with the mine thrower
you expect more soul in a rem4ke?
shut the fuck up, retard
Based, however, you're a tranny, so cringe
>played an incomplete version of it like 2 years ago
Good news: the whole game is getting released tomorrow
>want to replay 4
>remember I've beaten the game so many times that I know where all the enemies are, where all the items are, where all the treasures are, and all the best strats so the game is no longer challenging save for 3 sections
I wish so bad that the game had a harder difficulty than pro.
re4hd.com
Good news: It's already out.
Do knife only run
just let me strafe and upres the separate ways cutscenes
>make 1:1 port to VR
>censors dialog and stops you from looking at Ashley pantsu
this is the future you chose
A remake is never necessary.
Kbm or controller?
I played through once with controller and aiming is a bitch
Playing through again about an hour in with kbm and it feels much better, although the movement feels weird considering it was obviously designed around analog sticks
the broken butterfly cannot be upgraded fully on a fresh save if you expect to upgrade your other weapons. there simply is not enough money in the game for that. so the killer 7 is the better choice in a new save.
Kbm but qtes will be fucking retarded. It's either an easy A+D or the X+C you fumble with.
Re2 and re3 are not good remakes you have shit taste
They're not getting rid of the old game. Play the original all you want, if a remake comes out and its shit guess what the original is still there, it doesn't magically disappear.
Good thing it’s not getting a remake.
>he didn't collect the bottle caps
Yeah the first one kind of fucked me up
Gonna stick with kbm though, mouse aiming feels much better
i recently replayed it
I like kb/m for the precision but it's not your standard aim control
you get used to it and it's fine, but it is wonky at first
