Who gives a shit what a bunch of japs think? They work 16 hours a day and have a tiny penis

>sony: games for gamers

>"They only have Yakuza and Puyo Puyo"
Even Japan acknowledges how few IPs Sega uses

>Hatsune Miku
Hatsune Miku is owned by Crypton, these Japs don't know shit about what they are talking about.

Why are they all typing in english horizontally

>didn't even mention M$
xbots btfo

>no source
Anyway, Sega has been fading for years now, I may get to see Sonic becoming public domain in my lifetime at least.

But they are making a new Sonic, though

What about Joypolis tho? Are they finna close it? I wanted to go there when I go to Japan.

They're sitting on a literal fucking goldmine of IPs that they do fuck all with.
Why not get the Valkyria guys to pair with Reiko and make a sequel to Skies of Arcadia? The first game was a literal masterpiece and still to this day makes others in the genre look like dog shit.
Why not bring back Jet Set Radio, Panzer Dragoon, or a Burnout-styled Outrun with online shit?
Why not make a Sekiro-styled Shinobi game?
Why not get Dotemu or another proven studio to make a new Golden Axe?
Better yet, why not release collections of their Master System, Saturn, Dreamcast and Arcade kino? The Mega Drive has had enough spotlight.

No. Let's just pad sales numbers and churn-out another non-Classic Sonic game. That's what the people want.

>Finna
Kys wigger

It's funny how the whole Arcade thing still exists and Japan still has that while the rest of the world it has died, the whole insular culture at play

Arcades were great places to go on dates, meetups, and just hang around. When people spend more time inside, they miss out on developing social skills. Which is why most people these days are autistic cunts.

but aren't the japanese overall shut ins, how is arcade popular there if they nips are kinda autismos?

For the people confused about

>hoodlums
Whoever translated this is retarded probably a machine like DEEPL.

It's Gurentai anyone knowing anything knows what a 愚連隊 is it's not a hooligan or hoodum or whatever.

It's basically a Japanese gang of young people that aren't 100% associated with crime.

So more like Mafia, Yakuza or Gangsters of the past.

They were making those different Vocaloid prize figurines specifically for Sega's Ufo Catcher

Kek

Can someone explain the appeal of Vocaloid to me? This girl I've been talking to recently is a huge Vocaloid autist.

it's probably some dumb shit where sega owns the project diva brand or something like that

>This is what Japan said

they go on their way home from work or school
it's not the terminal shut ins that would go

Honestly most of the popular arcades in Japan are like 2 floors of crane games, 1 floor of gacha like games, one for purikura and like 1 floor for the rest of the arcade games, like idol rhythm games, one group of cabinets of tekken, street fighter 5 and that pvp mecha game all crammed into the back where all of the degens spend their entire days playing.

The best arcades are the retro ones that have a bunch of different stuff.

idk that kinda sounds like what a hoodlum is to me

Thank you user!

crime is just stuff the law knows about

people get away with anything not legislated

>E*glish
Don't care

That's a bunch of guys just doing Kuwabara cosplay

Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Kyoto, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Kawasaki these are all really big cities were real estate is at a premium so people living in single room apartments isn't too uncommon. Most young people aka 20-30 before they get an apartment loan live in a 1R or 1K or similar apartments.
Arcades are a physical place you can go to to have fun, where you have space and don't need to go home. They're also located around major transportation hubs so they're really easy to get to from your workplace usually.

Also Otakus aren't as NEET autismo as you think they are.

A lot of them are perfectly functional members of society but they're obsessed with their hobbies.
Arcades were a bastion for 20-30 year old men who basically worked till 8 - 10 to 19 in some company then went to the arcade to game with their bros till say 22~23 and then repeat.
Recently as in about 10+ years ago arcades got basically PSN or Xbox Live equivalents in their respective companies and you could play with people around Japan. So all the fighters and shit could be played online and there was specific multiplayer only arcades also.
For 3~4$ you'd buy an arcade IC card, you'd log in with it every time and play. You had like Bananapass,Aime, Nesica, etc.. I owned them all.

People play shit like
youtube.com/watch?v=weAPP6WNA58 now on PS
youtube.com/watch?v=vnpogycec9g
youtube.com/watch?v=Q0lernu9nL8

But now that the rona happened these groups fell apart and they will need to be reestablished.
People also bought PS4 or Switches at home so they can play games. Some even bought PCs. And with the rise of Vtubers and them replacing actual friends it is a pretty common problem.
So arcades are now on their last legs and need to recapture an audience they lost.
Heres the thing even in Rona cranes games are still open it's the actual games parts of arcades that are closed.

>Omg japanese people had an opinion about a japanese company that primarily operates inside japan?!?
>better post a wojack!!

The internet has melted your brain

You're aware that literally everyone that worked on those classic titles no longer works for sega, right? Let me guess, you think an IP name is all you need, right? Surely mass effect Andromeda is just as good as the original, it's made by
"Bioware" after all.

This is what I think when someone says hoodlum.

Attached: hoodlum.jpg (259x195, 8.54K)

don't respond to wojak posts

What was your time in Japan like user

>hoodlums
what/who are the hoodlums in Japan?

Completely different.
Valkyria Chronicles is an active brand and it's creators are still involved. Reiko Kodama is still at SEGA as well.
The Smilebit guys were absorbed into RGG Studio. JSR's artist just recently returned too.
This is shit that can be done, but for some odd reason, isn't.

>even in Rona cranes games are still open
is it because they make that much more money than the other games? because of fucking course they do
