I found it honestly bland and overall boring in terms of a 3D platformer.
Just play Super Mario 64 or Sunshine, they're way more better than Hat in Time.

Waited a while to get it because my computer wouldn't be able to run it at time of kickstart release.
Was worth the wait, although sometimes Poi feels like the superior indie 3D Platformer.
But they're both still miles better than Yooka-Laylee and Snake Pass.
