I didn't even play it.
Played the 2016, it wasn't bad, but I just couldn't get over how slow, sluggish and floaty everything felt. I don't even know why, the movement didn't seem all that different to other AAA titles.
Way overrated imo.

The things you disliked about 2016 got noticeably upgraded in Eternal, the gunplay/movement/combat is snappier and faster. Although things like art direction and tone got a bit downgraded.
