What the fuck is unironically going on in WoW lore?

haven't been keeping up with it since warcraft 3
opened it up recently and it seems like Blizzard is fucking losing it
shit reads like some low tier anime that went on for 20 seasons too long

The planet was inhabited by the old gods, but they were corrupted by something. A race of space gods, who were corrupted by something, sensed that the planet was being corrupted by something, so they killed the old gods.
One of the space gods that were corrupted, also got super-corrupted, and decided to fuck off and corrupt planets on his own. He created his own corrupted legion, but the corrupted legion got corrupted by something. Meanwhile in the planet, a race of super powered elves got corrupted by magic and hailed the super-corrupted rogue god. Half of their population got corrupted, and formed a schizm in their society which eventually exploded the planet.
Meanwhile all the races of the planet were corrupting eachother, while also being corrupted by the corrupted rogue god's corrupted legion. The legion was also corrupting another planet, so that they'd invate the other corrupted planet and corrupt it enough so they can invade. Eventually they did, but they got uncorrupted from the legion, and so the legion had to find other ways to corrupt the planet. Meanwhile, the rogue god was killed by a mage, but it turns out the mage was pregnant, so right before dying, the god corrupted the fetus. The fetus grown, and found out he was corrupted, so he got uncorrupted and started helping the people of the planet. While this was happening, the corrupted legion was now trying to corrupt a prince into destroying his kingdom, just so the legion could come and corrupt a tree or some shit.

and the guy who corrupted them all? Zo'vaal, the Jailer. All to collect the Infinity Sigils that will allow him to shape reality to his whim.

Essentially hat kind of writing happened with the Jailer, just that they managed to do that in the span of 1 1/2 expansions worth of lore.

I also tried to get into it after literally ignoring WOW for all this time Since I only played Warcraft 3. It is not possible.

Yea seeing how absolutely crazy Star Craft 2 Legacy of the Void is (it literally makes no sense whatsoever) I bet WOW lore is literally crazy garbage they pretend makes any sense whatsoever.
