The WoW curse if finally broken

This one change made me realize that Blizzard's game is absolutely failing. They're willing to undermine the fundamentals just to sell more wow tokens. At this point, it's a slippery slope until 2025 when a new expansion is released which destroys all the factions and everyone joins together in harmony. Not playing this garbage anymore, no way I'm playing boring classic for $15 a month, nor play on shitty private servers.

Just gonna play other games. Not like any of my friends have played WoW for years.

Fact:
The whole "2 factions in a Eternal war" is retarded from a far view point. This just make people hate other players just by race and make servers more useless in terms of you know, playing the game.
Real endgame in WoW is PvE, not PvP.

Cringe caption written by a woman "writer"

That puts me off more than the game play change.

Splitting entire servers in two was always retarded after the first couple of expansions. It was only a good idea in the beginning because it was novel and led to some cool world pvp. Then world pvp died so what's the point?

sounds cool them joining forces sometimes. makes no sense for them to fight all the time

Surely WoW has a playerbase to hold constant raids with both factions on all servers right?
This couldn't be because the game is dying, surely?
proof you never played the game back when it was good

adventurers should be their own faction
eventually the player characters are going to be done with the NPCs shit and become the villains.

>nor play on shitty private servers
Your loss.

Didn't ask + ratio

Sovlless bugman

Good, still waiting for f2p.

>the ancient evil is going to destroy the whole world
>fuck that we just fight each other and the ancient evil because that makes no sense

I feel like there will still be a faction divide because horde still has better pve racials

And When will bikini armor return in azeroth?

>what about we don't have an ancient evil that all sides must ally against?
>*confused looks from writing staff*

Won't play either way, it's was shit, still shit, and will be shit. This change is just blizzcucks stop pretending there is any difference in factions.

Its a problem blizzard created. Cross-faction is a fix for that problem now a feature.

>Destroying the identity of the game to avoid giving alliance racial buffs
Bravo devs.

>Ancient evil is going to destroy the world
The adventurers can handle that while the alliance continues to clean up horde chimpouts.

You mean so the plot will have finally caught up to wc3? This is the best move they can make to turn the game around

>blizzard had made raids into such a shit that only dedicated autists/e-sporters go there and filter out everyone, who has not had entire wow raid experience already
>"why there's not enough players going raids, we want someone to compete against, not to play the game"
Diablo 3 with it's ranked time-restricted infinite portals specifically and e-sports in general is one of the main reasons wow is twisted and bad now.
Unfortunately, every MMO have 2 phases - when no one knows, what to do, so every players are at somewhat equal positions, and there's no hard filtering - just exploration and tries, - and the second phase (which for some mmo's are actually first and single), during which there are at best 10% of all players, who know exactly what to do, so they get bored, and rest 90%, who think, that every player must be as top 10%, filtering out everyone else but themselves. With e-sportisation it gets even worse, as now there are metrics, as if you are not playing the adventure game, but rather work in farming simulator.
WoW was supposed to die out at the end of WotLK at worst, but due to franchise popularity it was artificially extended into money collector, which was getting worse and worse as time was passing.
Another problem is that new people, who work at WoW, somehow think, that every old player likes, when his game is changed towards new generation's tastes. What's worse, real generation tastes are pretty much not taken into account, as instead of remembering, that WARcraft is about WAR, that entire franchise was built on conflict and initially was rts, that WoW was supposed to be huge multiplayer rpg map of wc3, but better, nudevelopers go for "woke" non-auditory, which only screams on twitter about them being not represented as black faggot high elf from their badly written porn fantasy fanfiction.

tl;dr: WoW the hero of MMO's had lived long enough to see yourself becoming evil monster abomination.

Bfa, it sucked

isn't retail super dead like nobody raids in retail compared to tbcc or som?

It only makes sense after decades of it. Early on, Horde and Alliance players wouldn't have wanted to team up at all.

>Just gonna play other games.
No you're not, you fucking addict. You'll resub again.

I knew WoW was in deep shit when they added high elf customization options to void elves. I always joked that it would be a panic button decision, and 9.1, the patch RIGHT after the scandals, had them actually straight up do it.

Bfa had an ancient evil that all sides had to ally against.

In the age of the meta it’s inevitable that in a two faction system players would self select into one of them for optimization and efficiency. It’s not even blizzards fault although letting racials be imbalanced for 3 expacs certainly didn’t help

Is that tbc or tbc classic?

tbc classic? tbc didn't have logs lmao

As a B plot after the literal faction war ended in another alliance win, sure
