Especially guns and/or roles that require a degree of skill, that's why so many people have "sniper" in their tag and/or insist on playing the sniper role even though they're dogshit. FPS is by far the easiest "competitive" genre. Other genres like RTS and fighting have huge learning curves and high skill floors, but FPS is literally just point and shoot
