Why space fish so angry?
Why space fish so angry?
because God hates him
because they're blind and the loud noises scare them :(
Is the DLC worth it? How did they even make DLC for this game?
they're just hungry. there's not much to eat in the dark bramble.
It adds an extra planet with a bunch of puzzles to solve and a stealth-horror mechanic. It’s pretty good, though not as much as the base game.
Keep in mind it doesn't play quite the same as the base game, since you can't really use your ship or jetpack there. You'll just be on foot 99% of the time.
It's fantastic
Why, there's plenty of fish there
Is it just me or are these things nearly impossible to get by when using mouse and keyboard? I switched to controller and got past s easily but mouse and keyboard I tried 10 times and they would always immediately attack even if I was going extremely slowly.
Yeah, the game wasn't made with mouse and keyboard in mind and it especially shows in this area.
it's not about speed, it's about not moving the ship. If you move the ship or rotate it, that fires the thrusters and they can hear that.
There is a button you can hold that moves your head instead of your ship which helps with the rotation.
Keyboard and mouse are incapable of analog input so you can only go full power which alerts any nearby anglers. Low power thrust is only possible by default with a controller.
It's a female
First time I went in I interpreted the hints as meaning "no ship" so I explored everything in there suit only. You can just barely reach the ship flying on oxygen the last distance.
Especially when I found the foot only shortcut leading back outside behind the harmonica guy I became totally convinced that space suit was the intended way
I did it with my jetpack I didn't know you could do it with the ship. I thought you had to explicitly get out to get to the end, since you have just enough time to do it.
You have to just coast. Any tap of the keyboard will alert them. I'm pretty sure you can rotate with the mouse all you want though.
the rotation thrusters don't wake them up iirc, only the ones that move you do
Yeah this is exactly what I did.
Beat the game not too long ago. Was there anything to find on Hollow's Lantern? I mean obviously there must be, there's an entry for it in the ship computer, but I never landed there once successfully, anyway.
Just some lore iirc
You can land inside one of the craters, finding a mural there.
I agree that the DLC wasn't quite as good as the main game but the main game was so brilliant it would be hard to measure up to it.
But in my opinion its good bits are really good and its weak points mostly stem from the fact that it is an add on.
Still have really high expectations of their next stand alone game.
All they had to do is just add a couple more planets, instead of one single place to visit. Would've been much more interesting if the thing you found would just be some sort of portal or a relay like in mass effect.
When you use it you enter a completely different solar system. With less Planets than the base game but still, an actual solar system to explore.
first time round I just got out and went space suit mode
second time I yote the ship as fast as I could into the portal and just let it glide
:(
Yes it is. It's not as good as the base game but it's still very good
It adds a radio station in your home planet and you start from there
It explains something that's been mentioned in the lore
It also is a bit more scary
Once you head through the portal you don't need to touch the thruster at all since momentum alone carries you past them
