*Nods*

*clenches fist*

cool scene ruined by endwanker

cool scene improved by endwalker

The line is "Remember us" but in the original Japanese script it was "Retcon us", foreshadowing Endwalker.

ShB set a foundation for EW but also ruined by EW.
no more well-written morality grey conflict between Zodiark faction and Hydalyn faction, no more old life vs new life, Hyladalyn is now objectively correct because of muh Dynamis nonsense, even though the sundered people handled the final days way worse than the ancient.
Sundered people got absolutely no solution for the Final Days at all, if it weren't for you, an outlier, the whole planet would have been wiped out.

>Hyladalyn is now objectively correct because of muh Dynamis nonsense
More like she got fucking lucky on an absolutely retarded gamble.
There was literally no good reason for her to keep the information only she remembered from her people just so she would have an excuse to genocide them.
There is not a single realistic reason an entire race of scholars with god magic couldn't figure out a solution to a problem cause by a creation of one of their peers.

Prepare for more kino

>Story skippers.
Maybe look up form your phones once in a while zoomies fr fr no cap on a stack, sheeeeeesh.

You missed a big part of the point if you think WoL was the one who saved the day in EW.
It wasn't, it was Eorzeans and the WoL together over the course of the game (from 2.0 onwards) strengthening eachother in turn through the hardships they all faced and put eachother through.
WoL was just the person who brought Eorzea together under the banner of "this guy literally helped all of us at one point or another" and then delivered their collective answer to the Meteia.

How did the fujo do it, bros?
How dis she make the best written FF villain of all times?

It wasn't morally grey. At all. Emet-Selch was utterly mad, and lost to despair. The depictions you're referring to (created by the maddened Emet-Selch, by the way) only existed to illustrate Emet's motivations. That you ever considered it less than black and white shows failings in your own morals.

>Emet-Selch was utterly mad
>Genocide mommy is ok though
lol
lmao

Why are you changing the subject?

>How to improve FFXIV
One, Emet-Selch needs to be louder, angrier, and have access to the crystal tower's time machine. Two, whenever Emet-Selch is not on screen, all the other characters should be asking "Emet-Selch"? Three--

>VII Remake
>Shadowbringers and Endwalker
>Neo TWEWY
>Enjoyed all of them
>XVI on the distant horizon
>Jack's game soon
>Hype for both
Is it time for Square to stop being shit, and for Final Fantasy to ride again? I'm so fucking ready for this.

I cleared P3S in PF.
Ask my anything

There is hardly anything "utterly mad" about trying to save your people when you have the power to do it. The entire theme of accepting loss is utterly retarded when EW shows the people lost to zodiark never fucking died in the fist place when all of their souls are perfectly in tact, and turning back the clock is a totally viable solution an actual psychopath didn't want to take because she thinks she knows best.

>hurr durr Story skippers.
write a real argument.
>it was Eorzeans and the WoL together
>WoL was just the person who brought Eorzea together
So it was WoL, an outlier, who tard wrangled all these useless people to the victory.
And none of these suggested that the ancients couldn't have accomplished the same if not more.
Even without knowing that they were dealing with Dynamis, they were able to neutralize it by creating Zodiark, if Venat didn't hide the info from them, they could have come up with a better solution
>b-but Hermes will become a bad guy if he learn the truth.
put him in jail or some shit idk, They have all the time in the world to study dynamis after that, Zodiark has been working all this time, even after being split into 14 pieces.

She didn't make the choice on her how and she didn't need to temper anyone to agree with her either, there was a sizeable opposition party under Venat's leadership.
The cutscene in Amaurot wasn't literally what happened, it was an abridged retelling of events.

>Still mad about Hydaelyn
Absolutely mindbroken

According to ShB, the Hydalyn faction only wanted to keep Zodiark in check and stop them from sacrificing the new life that was born into the world to bring back the old life, not sundering the whole fucking world, and EW didn't dig into this any further than we already knew, we only saw Venat's perspective, and herself alone.

not an argument.

Your schizo ramblings aren't an argument either

>Remember us. Remember that we once lived… Also remember to watch out for that crazy guy Fandaniel. His pet bird caused the final days. I was there with my good friend Hythlodaeus and we ran into you because you got sent to the past by our good friend Elidibus. We went there to meet our good friend Hermes and his pet bird. Hermes's bird was capable of destroying entire planets because she had emotion energy, a concept so advanced only Hermes and an elephant knew it existed. Hermes was going to let the bird destroy our planet because he wanted to do an experiment. And then he was going to memory wipe all of us until Venat flew in on her magical dog and escaped with you. She then for some reason decided not to tell anyone about what happened and instead doomed us all to die, including our good friend Azem who fell into a Volcano while trying to find the source of the noise even though Venat knew all along because she put a magic microchip on Hermes’s bird. She then became Hydaelyn and sundered the world because a bunch of weak humans who die after 80 years were better equipped to deal with the threat than immortal gods who could create whatever they wanted at will. Except the only “human” that could actually stand up to Meteion was 9/14ths of our good friend Azem who also needed Hydaelyns blessing to survive along with his good friend my great-grandson Zenos Viator Galvus who had Hydaelyns blessing too except his was reverse-engineered in a laboratory. And he was a good friend.
Can't believe how many people missed the Endwalker foreshadowing in this scene.

Hydaelyn also sundered them because the Ascians were too close to forming the perfect world, even if they did beat the Endslinger they would eventually tire of existence without pain and sorrow. So she made everyone inferior to give them more purpose. Ascians were already killing themselves by the time the WoL came remember.
