I think this is actually the case. EULA says "Last Updated: April 1, 2018" right at the top. I don't think FROM programmers are competent enough to implement EAC into their game in less than a month, they can't even patch the alleged RCE exploit that took blue sentinel devs a couple days to fix.
That being said, fuck EAC cancer, really disappointed.

No it doesn't. There is 2 version of EAC, with EGS services and without it. Only EGS EAC has Linux support. Thank Timmy Tencent for installing botnet on Linux.
