I’m not saying it’s bad or anything, it’s just good to have variety and not instantly condemn a work simply because the artist decided to make the jumpscare a stock photo with really high contrast. The point of the genre is that you can do it no matter how poor you are or how low quality your equipment is as long as you have after effects, a decent narrative, and good pacing.
