The double dates themselves should have been an option, not the core gameplay. Also, the art didn't get any better, if anything, it seemed to be worse. The girls were fine.

Honestly liked all the new girls except for the weeb, I still play endless date randomly when I'm bored or trying to kill a few minutes.

The first game's art was way better.
I hate how the game would penalize you for setting up giant matches (+5). The baggage system was a frustrating mechanic to deal with.

Ah, I remember playing the original when it first came out and screensharing to my friends over skype every other night for a few weeks. And then one of my friends bought the game and 100% it in one day and we all learned that he was even more of a coomer degenerate than we originally thought.
Good times :)

Its mistake was being a well designed game which flew over the coomer audience because they never actually liked the gameplay.

The original game was better designed

Every level had the same strategy to win. In this one levels are actually different due to baggage, so you pick different gifts instead of sticking with the same ones for every girl

It was lacking the one feature that made the previous game kino.

put too much effort into the puzzle shit when he should've focused entirely on the art and coomer dialogue. also, he took too long to release.

i showed my sister this game and she played through it and told me the pink haired fairy chick, forgot her name made her bi, it was only the first game though.
She said she skipped the cutscenes or something for the other girls but not the pink girl.
I mean i don't like the art but fuck me if the horny fairy isnt a massive turn on given her dialogue and how horny she was constantly.

the puzzle aspect was harder and more nuanced, which is fine. the writing went pants on head retarded, stopped taking anything seriously, and lost ALL soul to it. its was just brainless coomer shit and cheap laughs. also they had some pretty terrible characters, while the first one had mostly amazing characters. he just clearly stopped giving a shit about the writing/plot.

Baggage would be fine except they introduced too many extra mechanics at the same time that made the game a bit of a slog

the 1st one was a mild success because porn games was still in infancy on Steam

but by the time the 2nd one rolled around, there are gazillions of h-games on steam that have better gameplay and more engaging than match3 gameplay this shit has to offer
