I don't care if the evil character is gay, just make them more fleshed out character wise so the character isn't boring. Tony in Earthbound is gay but will you notice it right away? The identity of one of the villains in Mother 3 was able to throw people off as well because they were fleshed out more.

I could care less if Claire Redfield is mocking a person who has been spending a good % of the game trying to kill her so far by calling him a "cross dressing freak."
