Gligar is based on Alien's face, this of course is very scary and offensive for zoomers so they had to tone it down because our dear zoom zoomers are very sensitive to dangerous stuffs like MONSTERS so now Gligar became the WHOLESOME FRIENDLU KAWAII UWU PINKMON LIKE THE KAWAIII JIGGLYPUFF!

GSC > HGSS on merits of progression being built around Gen 2 mechanics, making HGSS just a slog to play. Same with all the story "additions" like entire first few minutes of game being fucked for no good reasons and forced legendary quest being just about bunch of literal bitches wanting player to bully legendary bird because...
